Moscow-St.Petersburg Summer RSL
Program Offered Specially for Summer, 2018

With the FIFA World Cup coming to Moscow, access to Moscow State University (MSU) will be limited due to its proximity to Luzhniki Stadium. SRAS has therefore altered plans for its Moscow programs which are usually held at MSU. The result, however, is a unique opportunity to see TWO Russian cities in one study abroad program. Moscow programs will now be hosted at SRAS long-term partner MGIMO in Moscow, with an option to spend an additional 1-3 weeks in St. Petersburg.

This Program is Available in:

Two options are offered:

Early Summer (7 weeks): Cost: $6,095
May 28 - July 13, 2018  (Apply by: March 15, 2018)
Program includes 20 hours per week of Russian language training (140 hours total)
An optional extra week (through July 20) can be spent in St. Petersburg for $350 additional. See below for more information.

Full Summer (10 weeks): Cost: $6,995
May 28 - Aug 3, 2018 (Apply by: March 15, 2018)
Program includes 20 hours per week of Russian language training (200 hours total)
Students spend seven weeks in Moscow, departing on July 14 for St. Petersburg, where they will spend an additional three weeks. Studies are at MGIMO in Moscow, then shift to UNECON in St. Petersburg.

***All costs include tuition for study as outlined, dormitory housing in both locations, visa and registration, pre-departure materials, local orientation, health and accident insurance, round-trip airport transfers, SRAS in-country support, and use of a mobile telephone for the duration of the program.

***A one-way train ticket between Moscow and St. Petersburg is provided with the full summer and early summer optional extra week programs. Students should plan on flying to Moscow and flying back home from St. Petersburg.

***Cultural programs will be provided in both cities for students choosing versions of this program that include both cities. The schedules for these programs will be based on SRAS regular programs for Moscow and St. Petersburg, but limited based on what will fit within the shorter schedules in each city.

***There may be some limitations on levels accepted due to group sizes needed, and we ask everybody, especially those on the roughly 100 level and 400+ level to have a backup location selected.
