  2. The main characteristics and problems of economies in transition
  3. The connections between economic and ecological development
  4. First and second laws of thermodynamics; Fundamental equation of material balance
  5. Economic functions of the environment and the opportunity costs of its use
  6. Environmental costs
  7. Models for optimal use of the environment
  8. Theory of externalities in environmental economics
  9. Internalizing externalities in environmental economics: internalization according to the Pigou Model
  10. Internalizing externalities according to the Coase Model
  11. Economic consequences of environmental degradation
  12. Problems of determining environmental quality

Labs

  1. Key issues in maintaining the scientific method in the university academic process when transitioning to a new educational model (discussion seminar, instructor–T.I. Grabelnikh)
