Russian-Speaking Companion Wanted
$20/hr, part-time (Annandale, VA)

Looking for a Russian-speaking companion for a 70-year old male resident of an assisted living facility in Annandale, VA who has Alzheimer's disease. Our dad has lost his English language due to his illness, but still speaks his native language, which is Russian. We are looking for someone to come in and visit him about 3-4 times a week, for several hours each time and read to him in Russian and/or just talk to him, so he can have some mental stimulation. No physical assistance necessary. Hours and days can be flexible. Facility is not near a metro, although it is on the bus line, so a car would be helpful. Prior nursing care experience not required, but a personal reference would be helpful.
