Beyond Tourism
Short term courses are intended mostly for tourists and businessmen. For tourists, this can turn a sightseeing trip into a true educational and cultural experience. For businessmen, it is an essential way to understand, communicate with, and impress your partners. Showing that you want to know the local culture and speak the native tongue can open all kinds of new doors in a new country! Students coming to Russia to learn the language will be best served by SRAS's Russian as a Second Language or on of its Feature Study Abroad Programs. These are individual, private courses. Courses may also take the form of excursions – learn how to order food in restaurants, mail a letter, or order train tickets – and then go do it with your teacher! Subject courses in art, theatre, politics, and other subjects are also available. Contact SRAS for more details. I have questions about...
