The GI Bill can be used for degree study in Russia. The most important criteria are the following: The program and school in which you wish to study in Russia must be approved for use of the GI Bill. A handful of schools/programs in Russia have already been approved. For others, additional paperwork is necessary. Funds may be used only for degree study. Preparatory language studies, if needed for entry into degree studies in Russia, are not eligible for coverage with the GI Bill.
