SRAS's Lisa Horner will be in New York from September 22-28.  She will attend the Culture and Languages across the Curriculum (CLAC) conference. CLAC is an innovative movement that holds that students should have multiple opportunities to apply their knowledge of languages in a variety of curricular contexts, not just within the traditional language classroom. It strives to, among other things, find ways to make language learning accessible and practical to students of all majors. SRAS will be proud to have Lisa representing us (and our innovative multidisciplinary study abroad programs and internships) at this unique conference.

Lisa will also be paying visits to Pace University, Sarah Lawrence College, Columbia University, Fordham University, and Union College to meet with students and professors. She will discuss Russia, study abroad, and the wealth of valuable academic and resume-building experience that both offer.

Anyone interested in meeting with Lisa at the conference or interested in arranging an on-campus meeting, please contact Lisa ASAP!
