Links to Russian Clubs Worldwide!

Why is this page here? To provide an opportunity for Russian Clubs to reach out to each other!  Cooperation can result in increased fundraisers, events, and even travel to Russia.  Groups* through SRAS are eligible for discounts and specialized programs – custom built for specific interests (history, journalism, language, whatever), with related excursions and tours led by local experts.

Our growing list of links:

UC Berkley
Cornell University
George Mason University
University of Kansas
University of Minnesota
University of Tulsa
Cambridge University

*A "group" is defined as three or more people with similar interests and/or abilities of Russian.  Even if your club doesn’t have sufficient interest among its membership, perhaps combining with another club will provide the needed numbers. We, of course, encourage you to work together.

Want to join the list?

There are advantages!

First, this will result in increased club exposure leading, perhaps, to increased enrolment and activities. Plus, it’s free, so it can’t hurt anything.

Second, our member clubs can request to have an SRAS representative, an expert on the current status of Russian economic markets and educational opportunities, visit your club for a discussion on these and other topics free of charge. Your club will receive discounts on our services if three or more members travel together.

Third, member clubs can receive the SRAS newsletter.  It's full of information about business and culture in Russia, linguistic tidbits, travel information, and travel opportunities.

Lastly, member clubs also receive a free subscription to Vestnik, a new scholarly journal of all things related to Russia and the former CIS. Let us know if you are an expert!  Member clubs are highly encouraged to submit and imagine how good being a published author will look on your resume or vita.

If you are interested in having your club included in this project, send an email to jwilson@sras.org.
