Travel Expenses in RussiaThe table below shows what train tickets and airfare between Russian cities cost as of July, 2006. Please note that all prices are one way. Purchasing round-trip airfare will be less expensive overall. Train tickets are only available one-way (you must purchase two tickets seperately). Train tickets may only be purchased 45 days in advance of departure; air tickets can have similar restrictions in Russia. Also please note that summer is a high-season for travel, so this can be considered a high estimate of what you might pay. Winter tickets often cost about 70% of these prices.
