Travel Expenses in Russia

The table below shows what train tickets and airfare between Russian cities cost as of July, 2006. Please note that all prices are one way. Purchasing round-trip airfare will be less expensive overall. Train tickets are only available one-way (you must purchase two tickets seperately). Train tickets may only be purchased 45 days in advance of departure; air tickets can have similar restrictions in Russia. Also please note that summer is a high-season for travel, so this can be considered a high estimate of what you might pay. Winter tickets often cost about 70% of these prices.
