Credits for RSL study
RSL generally includes at least 20 academic (contact) hours of group language study per week. In a few schools it might be more. An academic hour is 40 minutes. This equates to roughly 14-16 credits per semester (of at least 15 weeks). If you are studying for a custom period, then you can use the rough equation of approximately 20 academic hours per credit.

Curriculum
For all levels, the following flexible allocation of time is generally used.*

Conversational speech, 35%
Russian grammar, 30%
Phonetics, 15%
Vocabulary building-20%

For each level, a suggested curriculum is used:*

Beginning level
Intermediate level
Advanced level

*These can be changed based on the needs of an individual group.
