STUDENT GUIDE TO RUSSIA

Student Guide to SRAS Locations
Everything to Know for Staying Awhile
in Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan

Traveling abroad for a vacation is one thing - traveling abroad for semester is a whole 'nother ball game. This  guide focuses specifically on those issues of interest to students and those planning to stay in Russia, Ukraine, or Kyrgyzstan for extended periods.

As anyone who has lived in one of these countries will tell you, it's not for everyone. If you are not willing to take chances, live off strange food, and embarrass yourself by slipping on foreign etiquette and foreign tongues – we advise you to stay home. Russia, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan are very different from everything you've ever known. Really. To travel there will mean growth and challenge. Be prepared for both.
