SRAS Feature Study Abroad programs (FSA) are full study abroad programs, with curricula and program length designed to facilitate credit transfer to your home institution. FSA programs include 1) a core curriculum of language training, 2) optional customization features and 3) a study component specific to each university or city.
1) Core curriculum All SRAS FSA programs include a core curriculum of intensive Russian language training. This core is designed to present topics for discussion, reading, and writing which focus on daily life, current events in Russia, etiquette, and cultural studies. The percentages indicated show the relative emphasis in each area, which may vary depending on the strengths and weaknesses of each student or group. 2) Customize your program! Note: The level designations below indicate the minimum level of Russian fluency required for each feature course. Courses designated all levels have at least one session (often in summer) conducted in English. Each session covers the same material, however, regardless of the language requirement.
